shaking
I found that I started shaking after I started taking Lyrica (Pregabalin) I have since stopped taking it and the shakes seem to have gone, touch wood, I'm in a bad flare up at the moment though and think it might be because I stopped the Lyrica, it really is a catch 22 situation.
Hope that helps a little? take care
hiya im fairly new to all this i get the shakes in my hands very badly , had this before i was diagnosed with fybro so i cant really put it down to medication, it gets quiet bad at times especially when im eating , ... mind you i went to chronic pain clinic as im going to go on a pain managment course, the nurse who was dealing with me said its all part of fybro xx good luck , and gentle hugs xxx
I used to have Parkinsonian type tremors when my Fibro was out of control. I still get them mildly occasionally if I have a flare. Very scary but they went away with dopamine drug treatment - Pramipexole is a Parkinsons drug that is also used occasionally for Fibro.
I have also had shakes related to myofascial tension (the same kind of shakes you would get if you tried to hold an awkward position for a long time and your muscles shake).
Shakes can also be related to nutrient deficiencies, such as magnesium deficiency (which is very hard to diagnose).
hi all i get shaking and its due to mussel spasms witch is part of fibro, I drop things or send things flying lol . If you are really concerned I would see your GP
thank you all was just checking it wasnt just me
I get a strange rocking motion as i lay down to sleep always look behind me expecting to see someone rocking the bed ! isnt this fibro the strangest illness out of 62 symptoms listed i have all bar 3
I get a strange quivering effect at night sometimes. It feels as though it's beneath the skin but above the bones.
I wake up and think the bed is shaking and then realise it's me. Now I've read this thread I'm going to start taking magnesium.
