I found that I started shaking after I started taking Lyrica (Pregabalin) I have since stopped taking it and the shakes seem to have gone, touch wood, I'm in a bad flare up at the moment though and think it might be because I stopped the Lyrica, it really is a catch 22 situation.

Hope that helps a little? take care :)

I used to have Parkinsonian type tremors when my Fibro was out of control. I still get them mildly occasionally if I have a flare. Very scary but they went away with dopamine drug treatment - Pramipexole is a Parkinsons drug that is also used occasionally for Fibro.

I have also had shakes related to myofascial tension (the same kind of shakes you would get if you tried to hold an awkward position for a long time and your muscles shake).

Shakes can also be related to nutrient deficiencies, such as magnesium deficiency (which is very hard to diagnose).

I get a strange quivering effect at night sometimes. It feels as though it's beneath the skin but above the bones.

I wake up and think the bed is shaking and then realise it's me. Now I've read this thread I'm going to start taking magnesium.
