I think you should phone them. They're not doing you any favours, just administering your rights, and you are entitled to know what's going on.

As you say, they are quick enough to jump in if you owe them anything!

Hi, yes ring them. If its above ESA and whether or not you are in the Support Group (ie unable to work) apparently there a 5 categories. Review after 3months, 6, 9, 12 & 18. Find out from them which one you are. After a couple of weeks you should get a letter confirming your benefit and amount and how often you get paid. Well done for ploughing through it, I dont think even the driving test is as stressful. I think by law the longest they can go without a review of your medical situation is 18months. Did you get a home visit by their Disability Employment advisor (mine was a wealth of information and an absolute treasure), she told me a lot of what to put in and said you MUST fill in as if it was your worst day (they automatically expect everyone to, even if you are honest and say you have good days).

I have heard that they automatically put 80% into the 'able to work group' and then wait for us to challenge their decision in appeal. The advisor told me also to apply for DLA and a blue badge. Didn't get DLA but did get a blue badge which is a godsend. She also said they would help me with any tax problems I had. My goodness, if the DWP had everyone like that then life would be so much easier. It was only because her mum had got Fibromyalgia that she was so helpful and understanding. I wish she could have been cloned.

I get dla and have a motobility car and a blue badge, i had to go for the medical but went on my own as i had no one to go with me and i was seen by a nurse and she deemed me fit for work so i appealed and it went to a tribunal which or course i won the nurse awarded me 0 points but the dr and judge at the tribunal awarded me 18 points, i still do the wrag thing but that is a breeze the girl i see is very understanding and i see her once a month. The judge wrote that i should not be assessed for a year but i dont know if that will happen. Just hate when the dwp drag there feet when it comes to them owing you as they are quick enough to get on the phone when your due or not entitled anymore, would be nice if there were more people like the lady you saw the whole process would be so much easier and less stressful x

I would phone them. When I won my tribunal in Oct 2012 I did not get any money till I rang them in Jan 2013 to find out they had processed my case and filed it without actually activating the payments.

It can take a few weeks for the tribunal to send the paperwork to the DWP, then they can take a few weeks to sort out payments of arrears etc.
