IAnother cup of coffee calling me thinks. Now the sun id trying to come through the layer of grey cloud I hope it does, just the thought of sunshine makes me feel warmer already. I feel like something different today apart from cleaning working being indoors so even if I cannot go I am having a picnic by a harbour.
I can hear the gulls cry as they wheel about over head. Hear..... . The tapping clattering noise of the rigging against the masts of the sailing boats that are waiting to be out on to the water with their over keen sailors.
The sea breeze is salty on your lips, when you lick them the salt pervades your mouth and your senses. The fishermen are just returning from the early morning trips to catch mackerel and crabs. Ice slipping from the crates as they are banged down on the quay side
. There is a little shop selling everything under the sun from shells of every variety to buckets and spades. Don't forget ice creams come on down lets go to the rock pools. I have a bucket and picnic blanket really need some food...................

I've been out pony-trekking on dougal my trusty mount. we took the coastal path around the headland to that huge rocky promontary you can see in the distance. we took blankets and lay in the sun, making out shapes from the clouds I saw a crocodile, someone else thought it was a duck
we ambled back to the stables before hitching a ride on the brightly coloured "puffing billy" beach train.
