Sore legs and feet

Having a bad flare at min find im sleeping all t arfternoon my legs and feet are really bad and my feet are swollen is it something i need to cope wit h or is there any he lp

Hi there.

Sorry you are experiencing a flare... Any new symptom that you suddenly get should really be checked by your GP although it may well be yet another rotten fibro symptom ... It may be something else that can be cleared up quite quickly with the right advice / treatment .. It may be the start of a whole new condition ... I managed to acquire arthritis at 43 ...

So if you can please get yourself checked by your GP

Hiya vg my strange feet led to my diagnosis but are a lot worse i have young children and have to do a lot of walking i think my legs are restless legs very painful i will spk to doc thanks xx

My feet and legs swelled up with a change of medication. When I stopped taking it, they went back to, (agony but not swollen), 'normal'.

My meds have increased im now on 40 mg of amiltriptaline and 150 twice a day and co codamol for pain and naproxen xx im gonna insist my doc does something xx

I am having this problem and read that one of the side effects of Amitrytilline can cause swollen ankles. I am using ice on mine and then resting on sofa with my legs raised up on pillows. I hope the swelling eases soon its such an uncomfortable feeling.

When the doc raised my amitrytilline recently to 75mg a day mine got worse for sure x

God but what a wierd, horrible beast FM is. I take 120mg of amitriptylene and apart from feeling, 'bombed out', has no other side effects.

It was taking TAMSULOSIN that made my legs and feet turn into barrage balloons. The doctor took me off it about three weeks ago and my feet/legs have returned to normal size.

My feet seem to spasm and stay like that fo r ages :(( im struggling to find comfortable shoes even flip flops hurt :(((( xx
