shoulder pain driving me mad
My problems all started with this nearly 6 years ago - frozen shoulder.
It is cervical spine nerve compression for me... it runs down through the shoulder, through the bicep nerves and then down the top of my forearm into the middle of my hand. Heat on the neck helps me with a wheat pack.
Hi She33, I have similar problems to you, neck and shoulder stiffness and pain and now I am unable to move my left arm in certain positions. My doctor has suggested injections which he feels would help to some degree, but the trouble for me is that I have real problem with needles! I work in a hairdressers and found it very difficult to do my work and have been signed off for some considerable time. Have you thought about trying a tens unit they can sometimes help relieve aches and pains, and as Peachy suggested heat pads help too. Ali63
Hi , this sounds ouch painful.
I have had a frozen neck a few times but not shoulder, diazepam helped along with voltorol ,, it took off the strain and started o ease the neck was incredibly painful, I couldn't move at all it was stuck in a side position for around two days, it slowly eased but I was so careful after that , I've had it again a couple of times I've been lucky this last year, call neck lock ,, cos I dunno what it is.
Diazepam worked a treat , voltorol little red pills, they are great for back and shoulder too.

Oh I hope it eases for you soon.Heat pads are good.know exactly what your going through mine keep on dislocating the slightest movement ive had four ops too,2on each shoulder.
See what the doctor says. You will almost certainly need to get it assessed by a hands-on practitioner - in the NHS that usually means a physio referral, but if going private is an option, an osteopath might be able to help.
The Bowen Technique. I had a frozen shoulder and a friend told me to get some Bowen for it. It's lovely to receive and not only cleared my frozen shoulder but a lot of other ingles too, and I am currently having treatment for tennis elbow ( 2nd session and much better). I cannot reccomend it highly enough.
