Yes get as much medical evidence as you can. Every little bit helps & if you have the ongoing support from your own GP its well worth the try. Dont give up. I did'nt & I won my case with all my medical evidence from my GP.

Good luck.

Jackie :)

Interesting. I am now fast approaching 60, have been on INcap for over nine years backed up by medicals, interviews and a lot of form filling. On completion of ESA Form at the beginning of January, I have noit heard anything until the end of April, despite following up. Asked for written confirmation of decision which arrived today telling me the following my medical I've been put in WRAG. They've never even seen me so I've sent a GL24 Appeal backed up with a long descriptive letter and one from my GP. I'm off to CAB on Tuesday with all the paperwork and really despair of Jobcentre Plus - I don't think one hand knows what the other is doing they are so inefficient. Hopefully they'll realise their mistake and I'll be reassigned to the Support Group particularly as my husband has taken EVR to look after me.

Good luck with your Appeal and make sure you give and get as much medical evidence as you can to back your case - I have lots of hospital consultants who are prepared to back me too.

As has been said make sure you get as much info as possible, preferably letter written by consultants. They take more it ice if them,

There is now harm phoning the department who has sent you these papers to confirm these details with either.

Good luck xx

Hi, as far as I know as long as you send everything into the cort at least 7 days before your hearing, they will look at it. That is what I did. They won't look at anything you bring in on the day. I hope this helps.

Good luck

Hi , if its going to tribunal they won't make a descion before , but it goes to appeal before tribunal and if you lose appeal then it goes to tribunal , that's how it worked for me , I won appeal ,so it didn't get to tribunal , it's an awful mess this government have put disabled people in , I don't understand why where not standing up to them.

Hi.. Just heard I've been put in the support group...it's been a long haul...the stress has made me worse (if that's possible)..however with a letter from my doc and a one to one with my local M.P.. Followed by a letter to the DWP...I might be left alone to be unwell..lol. I know everyone is different but how about seeing your local M.P?

All the best
