Hope u all ok.Does anyone know if dislocation of joints is anything to do with fibromyalgia?I've had four ops two on each shoulder,and the other week whilst in work I wss cleaning the kennels out reached up and my shoulder dislocated again,3 hours in A&E.My knees do it too,very painful.
It has been suggested that joint hypermobility is associated with fibro, though not everyone with fibro has these loose, easily dislocated joints.
There are several disorders in which frequent dislocations are seen, and hopefully your doctors will have had you investigated for these.
It sounds very painful and a real nuisance for you, and I would think that kennel-cleaning is a bit strenuous for someone with your problems!

Hypermobility is considered to be a risk factor for developing Fibro, so quite a few people have both hypermobility and Fibro.

Yep ive got hypermobilty, but prefer double jointed, which it used to be called! Mine is not as extreme as coming out of joint, but I do pull/strain muscles very easily. I dont even know sometimes when ive done it! I have to be very careful what I do! Perhaps doing such physical work should be given up for something less strenuous?xx
