sticky eyes

i have just started to get itchy/sticky eyes in the mornings does anyone els get this? its like hayfever but i have never suffered with this im not due an eye test till july??? i also have burning feet thought it was because of the diabetes but its not getting any easier, & ive joined my hubby on a healthy eating kick & GAINED weight

I had a bout of itchy sticky eyes after 4 days went to GPS after chemist wouldn't recommend anything as he wasnt sure what it was and got some eye drops off GP cleared it up in 3 days

Make sure they consider the possibility of testing your tear function. Some medications for Fibro can cause dry eye, but this can also be because of an autoimmune condition called Sjogrens Syndrome that should be ruled out.

I cannot open my left eye for about ten minutes after I get up in the morning, it also closes when I try to watch tv or read a book. It started last September but I can't remember what medication I started around that time as I take so many. I did see GP about it in January and she could not see what the problem was, so I went to Optician who thought I had an ingrowing eyelash which she pulled out. Didn't make any difference I rub it constantly as it feels as if there is an eyelash in my eye and it gets sticky too. I am going to mention it again when I see GP 2 weeks today as it is driving me mad.

Do you mean the burning on your feet is on the soles ? I had this last week and although I can barely walk anyway when I did it was agony.

I too am diabetic, type 2 so wondered if it was to do with that but I think when it is to do with diabetes it is numbness in the feet that you have to watch out for as it means the circulation to them is not good.
