Would love some advice & guidance please… I’ve recently completed my one funded NHS cycle which was unsuccessful. We got 10 eggs, 8 mature, 4 fertilised properly, 2 blastocysts (1 hatching) but NHS wouldn’t freeze as they were 5cc. I had a fresh 3dt (8 cell top quality) but then got early onset OHSS so have no idea if it even made it to blastocyst or whether it was an implantation issue.
I was on 2 x Cyclogest a day but started spotting during the TWW on day 10pt and my period came before the OTD. I’ve always thought that my issue might be a implantation/progesterone one as when TTC naturally I spot sometimes for 7-10 days before my period does properly arrive.
Does any have any advice about what to do next? I do wonder if I might be able to conceive naturally if I could sort out my progesterone issue? Has anyone naturally conceived but with the help of extra progesterone such as Cyclogest and Lubion injections together, or would a private clinic only give me this if I was doing IVF too?
I would be so grateful if anyone can relate to any of this and can share any insight into what has worked for them
Background: 35yo, no kids, TTC 3yrs, never been pregnant, AMH 14, ?endometriosis, no male factor identified.

I had a very similiar issue to you. My luteal phase was only 3 - 4 days long and I always started spotting 5 - 6 days before my period so even if we were conceiving naturally there was no chance to implant.
I went to see a private gynecologist as talked to him about this - he agreed to prescribe me cyclogest to take after ovulation - and it did stop the early spotting issue. (this was all before starting IVF because I was doing anything I could do avoid it!)
However, it turned out that my tubes were blocked so it wouldn't have mattered anyway as we couldn't conceive naturally.
When we started IVF I spotted early on my first transfer - so they gave me lubion injections which helped. I had 6 transfers in total and each time they measured my progesterone levels on transfer day, they were always super low. On one cycle I ended up on 3 x cyclogest and 2 x lubion a day to keep my levels up.
My point is that if you think it is a progesterone issue (which it could well be) then upping the dosage during IVF should help - or trying it naturally could do the trick too.
I have cyclogest prescribed on NHS for recurrent loss and take in natural cycles. I have had private clinics offer similar.
However, additional progesterone doesn't make a difference (based on large studies) unless you've had previous losses and are bleeding in current pregnancy.
As suggested by other poster, speak to your GP. They can do a Day 18-21 progesterone blood test, which would confirm if their are any issues with your levels.
Thank you all, this is helpful to know. Millbanks , may I ask if you have ever naturally conceived i.e. did the extra progesterone help at all in natural cycles? And GranolaHippo , was it your GP or a gynaecologist who prescribed you the Cyclogest?
I have had a HSG and my tubes seemed fine, and last time I had my day 21 progesterone checked it was normal, but my body doesn’t seem to absorb it… all very confusing!
