PRIVATE IVF CLINIC

Hello everyone, does any one know any private ivf clinic as i am not entitled to the free NHS, been trying for 4yrs now no luck and i think i might have pcos as my period is not regular anymore. I am in Telford,shropshire.

Hi I am with care fertility in Nottingham, but all appointments are with their satellite clinic in Birmingham. I have just had a positive result after my 1st failed cycle through the NHS. I felt everything was explained a lot more and all you were given better advice when you are privately funding. They go through everything on your last failed cycle first, so they can indicate why it failed the 1st round. Also this time round I understood a lot more as I was given a lot more information on why they do things certain ways. I definitely felt more positive and more in control than my last NHS cycle. I recommend doing a Multicycle if you can afford it. Feel free to contact me if you need any further info, but appreciate that Telford is quite a bit away from Birmingham/Nottingham. Good luck xx

Just to say that I hadn't realised until recently that NHS fertility clinics will take on privately funded patients and they are cheaper than the private clinics. Just worth considering if money is an issue...

There is a new CARE clinic opening in Birmingham somewhere very soon if it hasn't already? Dr Apen or Eapen? I'll have to double check- but he Is running it. I only know this because we are being treated at CARE in Nottingham and he was my dr but he's left to go and do the new CARE clinic in Birmingham. We have found CARE to be absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend them and use them again (hopefully won't have to though) good luck xxx

If you are open for overseas options, I highly recommend considering ivf abroad (particularly Poland/Gdansk and Czech Rep)- much cheaper, top-notch procedures and excellent care. x
