I am just 4 days into my buserelin injection and it seems fairly ok after all as against my initial feeling of having to inject myself. I just want to know if any type of diet or exercise will help with IVF at this stage. Any advice pls anyone?

My clinic used to advise 1 litre of milk a day too, but they now say part of your daily diet in drinks, cereals etc.
I haven't drunk milk on its own for years, so I had some milkshakes, yoghurts and cheese on most days.
I also got some Danio yoghurts and Upbeat drinks as they are high in protein.
Avoid snacking inbetween main meals as it's got something to do with your body trying to break the snacking down when it should be concentrating on growing your follicles.
They said if you need to snack then seeds or nuts are ok.
Mainly stuck to fish, meat, veg and fruit, but did have some carbs as you still have to be happy in yourself whilst you are going through the treatment!
During stimming, after injections, I put a hot water across my belly as its meant to help follicle growth.
After transfer I:
Took time off work
Kept my diet food and drinks similar to what I had been doing but had some "naughty" foods too!!
No hot water bottles
No hot baths
No over exercising
No swimming etc for a while after
Apparently you are also meant to keep your feet warm after transfer too.
I'd had some reflexology prior to starting IVF and also had acupuncture.
I was having it pre ivf and then had it during the stimming time, before collection and then before/after on the day of transfer.
I also got the zita west CD's and listened to them at bed time.
I was taking Pregnacare and hubby was supportive too in eating the same foods as me and taking vitamins.
Do your clinic use embryo glue? Might be worth asking them? My clinic use the glue at transfer as part of their protocol.
It's important, even throughout the 2ww to keep drinking the water!!
Obviously this is what I was told and decided to do, but different things might work for your differently....good luck X
I ate a handful of Brazil nuts and some pineapple everyday (although stopped pineapple 5 days after ET). I tired to drink more water and switched to decaf tea/coffee. I also had acupuncture which I found nice and relaxing!
eat healthily and try to get fit, work those pelvic floor muscles! after implantation you should only be doing very light exercise for first 16 weeks.....then you can do more, so you should try to get as fit and healthy as poss for implantation. I found it easy to keep swapping sides when injecting..less bruising too...good luck!
