I posted on here a week or so ago afraid about low number of follicles following my baseline scan. After 8 days pm 450iu of menopur, I went for another scan and the nurses were blown away as I had gone from 7 follicles to 32.
They were all talking about how rare this is since I will be 39 in Feb and my amh is 3.6 when tested in April. I don't have signed of OHSS and they said I might not be able to transfer but they may have to do a frozen transfer once my body has recovered.
They did bloods and found predictably my oestrogen is high so have lowered my dose of menopur to 150. I am due another scan on Friday and more bloods.
My question is whether anyone else has been in a similar situation and how it played out?

Hi. Hopefully quite a lot of follicles will mature enough for eggs to fit in, ready for collection. My feelings are the same, perhaps a freeze all cycle to give your body a chance to recover. Any embryos will be quite safe in storage. Make sure you drink lots of water to keep your urine nice and opals. Hope all goes well. Diane
This is me.. I respond really well to stims and end up needing to do a freeze all cycle because my progesterone is sky high x
Look out for signs of OHSS.. i’ve had it and it’s not fun. The pain was unbearable. I had really bad shoulder tip pain.. that was the first sign. Eat lots of protein and drink lots of water xx
