missed Cyclogest pressaries before frozen transfer

has anyone ever missed a dose of inserting pessaries before their frozen tranfer?

basically I celebrated my daughters birthday yesterday was so tired I went straight to bed last naught forgetting to take my pessaries.

my transfer is booked for Tuesday and it’s Sunday today…I’m freaking out!!!!!

hi lovely don’t worry too much about it, continue as indicated for the next days , you could do a third pessary today if you think you’d be low, apparently the body absorbs what it needs. Also, normally the clinic does a test a day before FET to check progesterone levels, if found low according to their threshold then they may advise to supplement by taking more pessaries or Lubion after the FET.

Thank you so much for this. I feel more at ease now. I was panicking that they may cancel the cycle due to one missed dose. I’ve taken time off work just for this cycle so really upset with myself for forgetting 😤. However, my little girl had such a lovely birthday which was the main focus yesterday!!!! I was sooooo tired last night !!!

Hi glad it has been helpful, just try your best and write it down after you have taken the dose on the fridge or put reminders on the phone if it helps 😂, one off missed won’t do much harm just get back on track now. I’ve also forgot times in the past, is easy to do if you’re busy , all the best of luck !
