Cyclogest Pessaries

Anyone had to use cyclogest pessaries when getting a positive test result after previous recurring miscarriages! If so how do you tell if symptoms are due to pregnancy progress or pessaries

Hi Sienna, i’m currently using Cyclogest pessaries anally and have done for all my 7 frozen transfers. Cyclogest has never given me any pregnancy symptoms at all. Obviously everyone is different and if you’re taking them in the same cycle as your egg collection you may have symptoms left over from that. As I’ve just noted on another post when I’ve had a bfp I’ve had sore boobs off and on and a few of those had the odd slight twinge too but by no means always xxx

Thanks, this is a natural pregnancy (out of the blue) after two miscarriages from ivf pregnancy, I am on them to help prevent miscarriage so hard to tell if symptoms are due to pessaries or natural

I think the symptoms from both can be pretty similar, it’s one of the things that makes it so hard to tell pregnancy symptoms from pessary side effects during the tww. Bloating, cramping, sore boobs, all could potentially apply to both.. I just want to say congratulations on your miracle bfp! xx

Thanks still in shock and so nervous! I really don’t want to be on the pessaries but following doctors orders just hate them xx

They’re a great support in pregnancy and I’ve used them for both natural and ivf pregnancy. I started to bleed and upping my Cyclogest stopped me losing the pregnancy xxx
