Frozen Embryo Transfer

Hello ladies,

So finally we are close to the time of transfer, Wednesday 29th is the day of transfer, I'm on bloody Progynova three times a day. Lubion injections two times a day and Cyclogest pessaries two time a day and Arovi injection. one small not so important question, is Arovi injection painful? or is it just me? been doing my injection myself but I might ask my OH to inject my Arovi from tomorrow.

Lets see what will happen this time, as I had mentioned before we have 5 chromosomally normal in the freezer, I really wanted to go ahead and transfer two but my clinic advise is one... another annoying thing for me is, my clinic doesn’t allow my husband to be with me at the time of the transfer, If it was egg collection I wouldn’t mind but I feel this part of journey is really about both of us and I feel so much more relax having me by my side...

I am excited as I am really tired of all the medications and side effects and ofcourse really worried... already had calculated the due date😔

best of luck to all of you, and if your transfer is around mine, Please let me know, we can stress over it together 😛. xx

5 in the freezer is amazing. It does suck that your husband won't be in with you; stupid coronavirus, but you won't be apart for long and he can do the real work of looking after you when you get home. Not that you'll need looking after but it's a good excuse to get him to rally around you! Xxx

so far we had one transfer and I really wanted to have him by my side... although I shouldn’t complain when many treatment was delayed...

Im really hoping this is the last time I need the transfer, keep your finger crossed for me. Thank you again dear xx

Hello! I’m taking Arovi too! It is awful, I find it really painful and much worse than the stims I was taking (they seem like a distant walk in the park now!)

Haven’t found any tricks to help yet but might try some ice tomorrow to help as I’m having the same drugs as you so Lubion is also making my belly quite sore and sensitive!

If you have any tips, let me know and good luck for your transfer!!!! :) xx

Thank you so much for writing to me, sorry you are are suffering too, and I agree with you Lubion is almost as unpleasant.... I am playing relaxing music before doing my injection but honestly after every injection I almost cry! too painful.... when is your transfer? good luck to you too xx

Aww I know these are awful. It is weirdly comforting to not be the only one feeling the pain though! Yes, I play music or my hubby sings to me to help distract me but the stinging and soreness afterwards has been awful, I really don’t look forward to them.

Mine will hopefully be on Tuesday, I unfortunately only had 3 eggs fertilise (12 were collected) and got my day 3 update today that all 3 are still okay but 2 are doing much better. Just nervous as I know 50% won’t make it to day 5 so just praying I have at least one for Tuesday. It’s been stressful to say the least but trying to remain as positive as I can and trying to keep myself busy and distracted too but hate when those alarms for my injections go off on my phone 😣

You are much stronger than you realise and have everything crossed for your transfer. This pain will be worth it if it means to hold a little one in our arms next year xxx

I honestly pray this difficult journey has an happy ending.

It’s so cute that your husband sing to you.

I hope 3 of them make it to blastocyst. Try to keep calm as much as possible, let me know once you heard from embryologist. Good luck to both us ❤️
