Had a biopsy at 5.5 days of managed cycle that showed I was pre receptive so my WOI is displaced. My clinic say it would be best to do another biopsy at 6.5 days and delay my transfer by another month to do this.
Any thoughts as to whether I should do this or just skip another biopsy and go straight to transfer at my next cycle at 6.5 days?
thanks

I did one EMA, Alice and ERA biopsy and the results said I was pre receptive and needed an extra 30 hours of progesterone. My clinic said there was no need to repeat it - they just followed the advice and I had the extra 30 hours of progesterone timed exactly on my next transfer which was successful.
I had the exact same dilemma a month ago. The test info says something like 90% of women don’t need to be retested so I wanted to know why it was being recommended for me. I tried phoning the test company but they said they would only liase with the doctor and even then only via email. Maddening. I even asked them to give me some hypothetical scenarios when this might happen but they wouldn’t say anything. I then spoke to my doctor at the clinic and she said that I can retest if want piece of mind but they realise it’s expensive and all the people she’s known who have repeated it have come back receptive with the extra day. She didn’t think it was needed. I think it’s ultimately about precision. They know it’s pre-receptive (I did mine at 126 hrs) but they can’t say by exactly how much. I've decided not to retest and just do the transfer a day later
So they’ve recommended an extra 24 hours but it may be that optimal for me is actually 28 or something. Testing again would enable them to narrow it down. I feel like it’s a ‘window’ so getting it to the exact hour isn’t crucial. I also wonder how it can always be the same as embryos themselves are at different stages of development (e.g a hatching one may be a whole day ahead of a 2/3 stage)
We haven’t had the transfer yet but hoping to do it before Xmas. We are just going to go with the extra day and not bother retesting first. I feel good that we trying something different
