so in September after my egg collection we collected 2 mature eggs which both failed to fertilise. After 2 weeks we had a withdrawal bleed. Now waiting for my next period to start before next cycle of icsi. On day 37 of this cycle and still no period- is this normal? Has anyone else suffered with late periods? I normally have a 26-28 day cycle so super late this time around. I know it can be normal for periods to fluctuate in time after ivf but I’m so impatient and just want to get going again. Stressing with having such a low amh for my age!

my first period is always late after the artificial bleed following egg retrieval… normally cycle is about 29 days but after the artificial one I wait about 36 days for it to come…in fact I’m waiting now and on day 30!
It’s never ending stress isn’t it! Eventually came on this morning thank goodness. Now to just hear back from the clinic and see what they say. I imagine now our next cycle won’t start until after Xmas! At least I can enjoy all the food haha! Good luck x
Hi there, I'm in a similar situation. Currently 9 days late and wasn't expecting it to have such an impact after my withdrawal being on time. I've been reassured it's to be expected but it's so frustrating waiting when we're wanting to start the next part of treatment. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Good luck x
It's normal for your hormones to take a while to even out, especially if you have been having an intensive protocol. I was on protocol 9 (NHS's strongest protocol) and I waited 12 weeks for my period to come back. I think anything longer than that then you should call your clinic for advice.
12 weeks!!!! That’s insane! I came on this morning so was 10/11 days late. Yeah I was on a very strong protocol with having low amh. Never ending stress haha!
