Hi everyone,Hope you're all as well as you can be.
I'm wondering what people's experiences have been with the length of your menstrual cycle post unsuccessful fresh transfer?
In September, we had a fresh IVF cycle which unfortunately didn't work for us. I had my period on the day that I would have expected even with all of the progesterone etc I had been taking. We were told to wait for my next period to try our first FET. I naively thought that given my period stayed so regular with all of the medication that this month would be the same. I'm now 5 days late and so impatient for us to be able to start the process again. What were other people's experiences?
I know it's probably to be expected but my poor husband is getting tired of "still not started yet" comments every other hour 🫣

I didn’t have a fresh transfer, but my next cycle after egg retrieval was about 7-10 days longer than usual. I asked about it on forums at the time and it’s very common for your next one, two or even three cycles to be longer due to the hormones taken for stims.
I’ve had it early, late by up to 2 weeks and baby on time it’s really common for it to be a bit out of whack for your first period after your withdrawal bleed from a failed fresh stims cycle in my experience, hopefully appears for you soon! Xx
