After Failed Cycle - How Long Until Next AF Showed?

Well, the query is in the title but just to elaborate more - I know everyone is different and what one person experiences another wont but just so I can get an idea what was everyones experiences here?

I am currently waiting for my AF to show up usually around a 33 Day cycle and today is 34 so its not too bad atm but I have my follow up on Monday and really wanted to be able to say I have had a cycle - typical when you want it to come it doesn't!!

I know that treatment can mess it all around but just wondered people's own experiences was it fairly close to usual cycle or was it realllyyyyy out of whack?

Thanks in advance ladies :) xx

Hi JB1988. This is always a nuisance, the not knowing. Hopefully it won't be long now, but in some cases it can take up to 2 months. Hope it's not that long! Diane

Ekk!! I hope its not that long haha!

I do feel like she may be coming soon, usual headaches etc but nothing yet! So typical isn't it when you want it, she doesn't show up!

Hi JB1988, I don’t know if your on progesterone suppositories which I was but I stopped them when I had my negative result and had my period 2 days later. Everyone is different though, I’m sure I was told that the progesterone delayed your period also 🤔 hope it arrives soon, again people are different but mine was a little heavier and longer amount of days x

Thanks for replying. My failed cycle was back in Dec and I was on progesterone also and once stopped my period arrived 2 days later like yourself. It’s this next one that’s playing me up! Lol x

Sorry for the tmi but in the past when I’ve been a bit late for my period, I’ve found that having some fun time with my hubby brought it on 😂😂 worth a shot maybe 👍🏻👍🏻🤪🤪 x

My one came six days after OTD.

Sorry maybe I should have been more specific. I mean the next AF after the bleed following a BFN.

I had one two days after the BFN in December but nothing since and usually would have by now. Thinking it may be on the way so possibly only a couple of days out but until she shows it’s back to a waiting game! Ergh! X

For three of my cycles my period returned as normal. Cycle four I waited about 6 /7 weeks or so before it showed up. That’s Very frustrating for you. So typical when we want to bleed we don’t! Hope she arrives ASAP xx

Thanks for replying hun. 6/7 weeks wow! How did you cope? Lol!

It’s always the way, when you don’t want her to arrive she does and when you really want it nothing! Haha!

Too right!

I told the doctor at the review appointment that it still hasn’t showed up and he almost scoffed and said don’t be complaining about having a break from it 🤦🏼‍♀️

Haha I’d rather it be because of a baby growing though! Still nothing for me yet but I feel like she will show soon FC! X

My daughter unfortunately started bleeding on Boxing Day after her BFP. It was confirmed she had lost the baby on the 29th December. She started her AF flow yesterday so it was quite a normal cycle really xx

So sorry to hear about your daughters loss.

Thank you for commenting though, mine is just being awkward I guess! 🤷🏼‍♀️
