I had my egg collection on Monday and waiting to see if we have anything to transfer on Saturday (the wait is awful). Started my pessaries today and was told by the doctor to expect some ‘discharge’ (I was still coming out of sedation so was just nodding along) but literally feel like it’s melting out of me 😂 is this normal?

Hi,I was advised to lay down for at least 30 mins afterwards.
I always try to time it so I can lay for 60 mins & it still comes out then 😬 apparently this is all normal tho & your still absorbing enough of what you need.
Thank you! Just bought panty liners but the irrational part of my brain just thinks it’s not going to work because it’s melting out of me 😂 I’ll try lying down!
I have the same problem with pessaries and this makes me really nervous. In my previous cycle I was prescribed crinone gel and I found that it works much better as it stays inside!
I used 2 times with glue and 1 bfp which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage and 1 failed and 2 times without which again 1 failed and 1 bfp and am 11 weeks now... Last time my nurse told that recent research showed that glue hasn't increased success rate so I did without and alhamdullah it works so it totally up to you do a research and then take a decision.. Good luck for your transfer 🤞🤞
Oh my life those pesky pessaries! I started off with inserting front end (twice a day). But ended up developing thrush within a week! For me, it leaked even after lying down for 30 min. So I switched to back end which sounds worse than it is. No leaks, no thrush and no fuss. My clinic wanted me to do 1 in the front and 1 in the back but I just switched to back end completely. I would really recommend back end if you don’t get on with the front!!
I also had my egg collection on Monday and waiting on a (hopeful) transfer for Saturday! Have been using cylogest in the back end as felt very sore in the front (I didn’t know if that was maybe due to egg collection on Monday?) and seems to be mess free just suuuuper bloated and uncomfortable generally! Best of luck to you! 🤞
