Day of embryo transfer - frozen eggs

Hi all

Can I please ask! Those of you who have used frozen donor eggs, what day of your cycle your clinic said they could transfer on, I.e the window being day 17-27? I always thought it was between day 17-20, but does it depend on when progesterone support is commenced, I.e. transfer is planned for blastocyst transfer 5 days later? So the clinic could delay transfer by not commencing progesterone as early to fit your transfer in with their lab availability?

hi, I’ve had frozen embryo transfer with donor eggs, not sure on day of cycle transfer was, I commenced on oestrogen day 2 of period had a scan 11 days later then had to start on patches aswell, had a scan 2days after that lining was 8.6 and so started on progesterone pessaries that night and Lubion injections transfer was 5 days later . Hope that helps x

Hello, I think the transfer date depends on your lining. My clinic has given me day 16 this time, following 5 days of progesterone. I think they can be slightly flexible with the date of the transfer. Good luck x

Hi, my frozen transfer using donor eggs was carried out on day 22. The day of transfer makes no difference in a hormone regulated cycle so please do not worry! I am pleased to say I am now coming upto being 12 weeks pregnant after my first transfer😊

hi, for me first transfer of frozen embryo using donor egg was day 17, the next transfer was day 19 both were natural cycles and embryos were 5 days. I was asked to start Cyclogest from 6 days before transfer ( which was the last scan of lining), I also had a Trigger shot once my ovulation tests gave the best reading which was about the same time after my final lining scan. Both transfers were successful. Good luck xx
