How did people respond to ovaleap and how does dosage compare to menapur . Previous 2 cycles
225 menopur- 6 eggs (age 38)
150 menopur (double dose first few days) increased to 225 day 8 - 7 eggs - 2 embryos (lg and MMC)- age 39
I’m now 41, pcos and amh 28.1 (decrease from 70.1)
Think best discuss your concerns with your clinic as medication protocols are different for all patients depending on your history - results - previous response to medications - age Not one size fits all - protocols are carefully tailored to suit different women

Hi, I'm 42 on menopur initially on 300 after two days the dose was increased to 375 and so far 13 eggs.
That’s a great number. Can I ask if you had any other cycles and what was your protocol
This is my first cycle and I was on long protocol. Synarel + Menopur.
Just quick update they collected 17 eggs. So I guess this combo did work for me very well.
That’s great fingers crossed some make it to the freezer.
Hi im 39, AMH 16.8. I was on ovaleap 225, got 11 follicles and 7 eggs.
This time im on 300 menopur. in middle of stims so cant compare yet. I had no side affects with ovaleap, with menopur my ovaries hurt a bit.
I know theyre hoping for more numbers with this change, however Im thinking its more about quality over quantity
Thanks for your reply. I didn’t have much side effects with ovaleap so the point I didn’t think it was working. Menopur I was sore and found it difficult walking towards end. I had egg collection on Monday and got 20 eggs 17 mature and 6 fertilised less than they expected but delighted with this so far. Day 3 update tomorrow so fingers crossed.

quick update have 3 day 3. cells at 6,7 and 9 and no fragmentation other 3 are fragmented and only 4/5 cells unlikely they’ll improve. Booked transfer for Saturday 🙏🤞
At the end they did double transfer day 5. They weren’t At blastocyst yet but it was to give best chance. They weren’t given any grades but they weren’t excellent quality. The other one didn’t make to blastocyst for day 6 though it was still developing but clinic only culture to day 6 so it was discarded. Fingers crossed for the next 2 weeks but have to admit not feeling as positive as egg collection day.
Gosh you have been through it, just take this time to rest and recouperate and be ready for which ever way ti goes in the end. What an amazing place this forum is for sharing all that we put ourselves through to get our dreams.
