Natural killer cells biopsy

Hi all,

I’m just wondering if anyone out there has had the nk cells biopsies at Coventry?

I have had my first biopsy which was fine, but have just ovulated and as i’m going on holiday until next Monday night, i can’t go to the clinic for my next biopsy within 7-10 days as I’m meant to (the clinic is only on Mondays and Fridays). I’m absolutely devastated to miss this and can’t bare the thought of waiting another month! My last miscarriage was in June and we are desperate to start trying again. I was wondering if anyone out there has been to the implantation clinic and had their biopsy out of the 7-10 day period?

Hi Puds1979, I did have two biopsies done in Coventry but followed their advice and had it done within the timescales recommended - they were very flexible about booking me in. I do hope you get the right result. Keep positive.

Hi Esme,

Thank you so much for your reply. Were you always able to go on either a Monday or a Friday?

When did you have yours done? Have they proved beneficial to you?

Hi Puds1979; yes I had my tests done on Mon/Fri only; in fact I was fortunate to have them done on the exact same day in the cycle. My results came back as low so NK cells did not impact on the negative implantation - we are now in the middle of long IVF/ICSI cycle and hope for the best xx Good luck to you too.
