This is my 3rd cycle of ivf and I had only 1 genetically normal blastocyst (the other 2 were abnormal as I did the genetic testing). Previously I had an ivf miscarriage and natural pregnancy miscarriage, we have unexplained infertility. I also had some chemical pregnancies. This time I am pregnant again but I am so terrified that it will happen the same thing and I can’t stop checking everything that is happening in my body, it will be 4 weeks, I know its very early but I can’t stop worrying. I did bloods on day 8 after embryo transfer and repeated on day 10 (yesterday) but today I have no symptoms whatsoever, even some sweat or slight cramps that I had disappeared, my breast feels like nothing is going on and I am honestly freaking out, can’t help myself. Did anyone had a similar situation? What did it happen?
No pregnancy symptoms : This is my 3rd... - Fertility Network UK
No pregnancy symptoms
Completely unreassuring but 4 weeks is very early to have symptoms. The only round of ivf I had lots of symptoms was a flat out bfn. The only round I had an ivf pregnancy to term, I had spotting (well bleeding) but nothing else.
Sore breasts come and go throughout the first trimester as they please. I don’t remember having any actual pregnancy symptoms that were deffo not the progesterone until I felt a little sick by week 6ish.
I know it’s difficult because miscarriage makes you lose faith in your body but the only bad signs at this point is heavy bleeding and cramps.
Lot of people in non ivf pregnancies don’t know they are pregnant at 4 weeks and it’s so difficult but no two pregnancies really are the same. Even in the same fertile person having two separate children.
Hang in there. I remember the wait for a viability being almost worse than the wait till otd after multiple miscarriages. X
I’m so sorry you’re going through this stress. I had similar experiences and often felt terrified when symptoms would come and go. I only really felt symptoms at the end of my first trimester, and I know how nerve-wracking it can be when you don’t feel much early on. Symptoms can vary widely and change from day to day.
Please try to be gentle with yourself and reach out to your healthcare team for any concerns—they're there to help. Sending you lots of positive thoughts. x
Congrats on your BFP. I was and am the same. I'm 7weeks and 4days today and literally the only thing I got at last last week was a horrid taste in my mouth. But that comes and goes.. so much so I paid for a scan yesterday as I was adamant baby wasn't growing anymore. If you can do what I did and have regular HCGs my Dr was kind and gave me forms to take up to the hospital to get this done when I needed to so I didn't have to pay. That as the only thing that kept the anxiety from boiling over xx
I am really sorry for your loss darling, I know well how devastating that is. Sending you lots of love ❤️
so stressful after all you have been through already. Please don’t worry about symptoms. I am 23 weeks along and haven’t any symptoms yet! It’s still a bit early. Just look after yourself (emotionally and mentally) to give your little embryo a chance. Sending much love, I know it’s hard…
