Hi

Iv become obsessed about pregnancy testing as I’m so worried, everyone has said pregnant which is great news . I know it’s not good to keep testing I’m waiting for my HCG levels to come back.

Iv done one 2 days ago and it said pregnant 2-3 weeks then one this morning that said pregnant 1-2 weeks has anyone had this before ? The one Iv done today was not my first urine of the day more like 4th as can’t stop weeing

I’m just worried as had an early miscarriage first time round

Thanks x

I has the same thing, last Monday I did a test and showed 3+ which was when I would be 5weeks 1 day so spot on and then I did 2 Thursday and they come back 2-3, I have done cheap Asda ones and both come back last night with strong lines so I don’t get it, I’m petrified I’m miscarrying. I had IVF and 3 put back in so thought at least one would be ok 😩x

I had one just over a week ago and it was 276 at 13dp5dt. I had another Friday due to my hpt results so get the results tomorrow but I just did another one after holding pee for 3 hours and it says 3+ x

The week indicator on digital tests can be misleading. Inside the test there are a couple of sensors who read the darkness of a teststrip- the same you would find in non digital pregnancy tests. So where it is easy to read pregnant/ non-pregnant, when it starts trying to distinguish between dark/ darker it becomes less accurate. It is the same problem as with normal tests- if your urine is more diluted- the test will come up lighter. Digital tests are not more accurate as strip tests- if you, for example, you want to test really early you use first response- not clearblue because it is less sensitive. They are good though if you want a yes or no answer rather than stare at a strip at different angles to find a line. But to get an accurate idea of your pregnancy progressing, you have to do a blood test. Good luck and take care! Xxx

The week indicators have always been wrong for me on those. It read behind my dates a lot. I totally understand the want to test and I did look for line progression on the dye tests but that was off sometimes too. I’m now 15 weeks and stopped testing after the HCG came back doubling as it was sending me mad. Good luck and try to take each day as it comes 🤞

I gave up on the weeks now in one day went from 1-2 then 2-3 weeks it doesn’t seem very accurate.

It’s stressing me out more so I’m not checking now x

Hi hun. I'm guessing you had your egg collection on the 12th? If so then you're 4 weeks 3 days (Tuesday) so you should be showing around 2 -3. But honestly at 4 weeks 2 days I was still showing 1-2 then I tested again at 5weeks 1 day and I had gone to 3+. Wouldn't pay much attention to the weeks indicator its crap at times. I was gonna suggest an early scan but you'd need a couple more weeks.

Hi mine was egg donor and my periods were all of the place before the transfer as they found a cyst and Put me on the contraceptive pill prior to the transfer to shrink the cyst . So I’m not sure of date of my late period. All I know transfer was on the 16th of sep.

I’m staying away from the weeks pregnant test I’m just praying I get my HCG back today and it’s good x

Period doesn't count with IVF unless is a natural cycle. So they count from the day of egg collection so the day they started to fertilise the egg in your case. Then go add 2 weeks onto it as a doctor would. So your fertilised dated for a 5 day blastocyst has to be the 12th so 2 weeks before that would make you 4 weeks 3 days .x let us know the result if your HCG I've got everything crossed for you hun xoxo
