Hi all,
I’ve just been told my my clinic my progesterone is low and I need to start lubion injections. I just wondered if anyone knows where is the cheapest to get them? Anywhere you’d recommend?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all,

I remember another IVF friend saying that Asda has the cheapest Lubion and it comes up here a lot too
agreed- we got ours from Asda as it was the cheapest we could find
Another vote for ASDA. But they don't generally have it in stock in the store and you need to give them a day or so to get it in. Check but sometimes your clinic can give you a small amount in the meantime if there's a delay.
Asda deffo cheapest 56 quid for 7. If you get from stork or zen they will charge you double xx
the cheapest is ‘fertility medication centre’ - not for profit company, and they provide all the right needles too which Asda don’t.
I always got mine from Asda, couldn't find anywhere cheaper....my consultant even recommended Asda! I got my needles and syringes from my fertility clinic x
ASDA does their fertility medication at cost price, but you may need to allow 2-3 days to order in if it's not in stock. I just started using them, and am annoyed I didn't for my other 7 cycles as I must have been throwing money down the drain 😭
I found Asda to be the cheapest too. I think they sell fertility drugs at cost, as one of their founders went through IVF herself. I sometimes waited a few days or more for prescriptions to be ready and so you just need to plan ahead.
Thank you all so much! Can anyone tell me, does Asda supply the needles and syringes too? X
I don't think so but check with your local store - if it's on the prescription they may be able to. Also sometimes the lubion packs come in a form that you just need the needles. If you do need to source them I got them through an online pharmacy with no issue and didn't need a prescription, it was just a bit tricky working out exactly what size I needed.
