Wonder if you can help. I started injecting lubion on Tuesday. I am having trouble drawing the liquid into the syringe. Any tips on how to keep this liquid in the syringe without it going back into the vial?
Would turning the vial upside down and drawing the liquid help?
The actual injection is fine, it's just the prep.

hey, yeah that’s what we do. Also give the vial a little gentle shake before inserting the syringe and then turn upside down/an angle and draw out with syringe, we sometimes draw liquid and release back in the one motion, hope that makes sense, you get every drop. Next time your with your nurse ask them to show u also.
When I draw the liquid there's always a tiny bit left and I just go back in the vial and get every drop. Is there a problem with it? I have been doing it for years
You also need to keep the pressure on the syringe while you pull the vial out. I always did the vial on top at an angle, pulled the syringe out until I had all the liquid and plenty of air in the syringe, and then pulled the vial off with a "pop". You can then remove all the air afterwards. That is how the nurse showed me. Hope that helps! x
Hi, I started my Lubion on Wednesday and I agree it is so annoying to draw what I've been doing is getting all liquid and loads of air in the syringe then I turn it upside down so the needle in the vile is pointing up and this way only air is going back in before I take the needle out
