Lubion help

I'm on day 4 of Lubion and my stomach is very tender. I'm trying to go low down and running along the bottom of stomach (like I've read on here) and also rubbing the area after administering the injection but I have red sore lumps at every injection site. Transfer is tomorrow, now starting to stress about whether I am absorbing it right... 🙈 anyone got any experience of this?

It’ll be absorbing fine. I get my partner to do them in my bum and use a heat pack. Good luck!

I found Lubion made me really sore at first but after a while I seemed to get used to it and the injections weren't so painful (including the lasting pain that was going on for days at the injection site!). Advice I was given was to warm the vial first (hands, cleavage) and inject nice and slowly. It was variably effective at making the injections hurt at the time. I think the instructions say not to rub but I can't remember of the top of my head - have a check of the package insert. It shouldn't affect absorption but could make it hurt more. You’ll be absorbing it fine it is just a reaction. I inject into my thighs as my tummy got so sore... good luck with everything xxx

I found it really sore on my stomach so I do them into my front/outter thighs, I checked with my clinic who said this was fine. I think you’re not supposed to rub it straight away as it can irritate it more, but can massage the area later. I still find that wherever I inject, the area is sore pretty much for the rest of the day, but it’s easier to handle on my thighs than stomach. X

I always found it really painful on my right side but not so bad on the left. So try just injecting left abdomen x

I’m currently using lubion and I’ve found doing the injection very close to knicker line area much more comfortable, it doesn’t feel tender or bruised after like it did when I done it on the tummy. x
