My last FET transfer (transfer number 6) resulted in a positive pregnancy test, earlier in the month. I started having bleeding on Tuesday, bright red but no clots. I had a scan at my fertility clinic and they could see a gestational sac and yolk sac and I was 5 weeks 6 days at that point. They couldn't find a source of bleeding but said it could be caused by cervix being irritated by pessaries. I switched to lubion twice a day instead of pessaries. I've had no bright red bleeding since but keep getting brown discharge on and off. There was nothing yesterday but today there has been more and sometimes with dark red stringy bits. I'm so worried. I've had two miscarriages before and can't help fear the worse. Should the brown discharge if it was old blood have stopped by now? My next scan is on Tuesday when I'll be 6 weeks and 6 days. Any advice/reassurance would be appreciated. Xx

I've had internal hematoma and I bleed from it....the brown to me it is not too worrisome as it should be old....it could be that when you went to see them the hematoma was already reabsorbed.
I think what it is important is that they were able to check that everything is ok and being check again after a week is good.
hi there, it’s so scary seeing any type of blood in early pregnancy I know. I had exactly the same as you in the past and went on to have a successful birth. The lady who scanned me said that after IVF it can bruise/annoy your cervix which makes it bleed abit. Try not to worry. It’s defo easier said than done I know 🙏 xx
Thanks so much for your reply. Hopefully it is just cervix irritation. Glad you went on to have a successful birth. Thanks lovely, I'll try not to worry xx
Hi, i had brown spotting until about 10 weeks. I am now looking at my beautiful 3 weeks old daughter, I freaked out every time i saw the spotting, try not to worry (even though i know that's almost impossible)
Hi as I would read my story. I had spotting from brown to pink and red plus cramps from very early on up to 12 weeks. I had two additional scans up to 12 week. They never found out any cause of bleeding. In the end it was put down to the progesterone witch cause more blood circulation in cervix. Currently 23 weeks pregnant. Fingers cross for you 🤞🤞🤞
Sorry for the delayed reply. I'm glad your bleeding wasn't a miscarriage and hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well. The doctor saw a small Hematoma which was the cause of the bleeding. Currently 9 weeks pregnant xxx
