I get lots of watery discharge and creamy discharge from the pessaries. Last night and today it is tinged very light brown (almost orange). I have read a lot of spotting is common at this stage and nothing to worry about. Is it possible the pessaries could scratch a little?
Basically I am asking if I should be concerned?
Thank you

Hi Dancer84. Great to hear you have a BFP, well done! The creamy, white discharge could just be hormonal from your cervix. The pessaries can get a bit cloggy at times, and what you're describing seems like some leftover stuff/pessary. If the discharge becomes smelly, you could have a bit of an infection, but otherwise I wouldn't worry. Concentrate on getting your scan booked so you can meet your little "bean". Good luck! Diane
Hi Dancer, I assume you're inserting pessaries vaginally? If you are the gunk left over tends to go brown or possibly any other colour! (mine was brown, orange, grey, cream). They advise to clean out the gunk in the shower every couple of days. I got clear watery discharge after a couple of days of my ET and continued for my whole pregnancy (currently 34 weeks). I had to wear panty liners every day as it was often quite a lot. So basically - I wouldn't worry, it all sounds normal 😊 Hope your upcoming scan goes well xx
Thank you to you both this is so reassurance. I never thought I would be this worried so early on! Scan is booked, currently 4w5d and can’t think of anything else! Thank you again x
I’m 5 weeks today and I’ve also just had some very light brown mucous type discharge! It made my heart race when I wiped. I’ve been googling and from what I’ve read it shouldn’t be anything to worry about - it seems very common in early pregnancy - but you can’t help panic and worry can you! Fingers crossed 🤞 🤞 xx
