Lines not progressing- any success stories 🙏

I had spotting on days 6 and 8 post 5dt at the same time as a vomiting stomach bug 😢. The spotting stopped on day 8 in the afternoon and when I tested to confirm I was out, it surprised me with a BFP! But, then since then the line has not got darker. This happened to me last cycle and the pregnancy was anembryonic at 7 week scan.

Anyone had experience of these static lines?

Last time, my experience with the mmc was so long and drawn out, I feel like time is just draining away.

My clinic are not helpful and don’t routinely do bloods.

Any help much appreciated, feel despairing 😔

hi Kitkat, I think that the line is pretty strong, could you book private bloods somewhere?

Hi, thank you for replying , yes I looked into private bloods but it’s another £120 and I feel like I’ve spent enough on this already. I find it totally exhausting and my clinic are not helpful x

If you are based in London, I did mine in a private health centre in Bond Street at £49 and you get the same day result if you do it in the morning. If you are interested, feel free to drop me a private message. Anyways, I hope this one goes well for you, it's looking promising if you ask me :) !!!!!

Was that 2 48 hours apart? I’m in Yorkshire but I think the cheapest I could find was £55 for one

Ah, that's too far then! And the one I did was £49 per test.

Those look like really nice strong lines to me - I'm not sure how much darker they can get.

Also when I finally got my BFP I was too scared to test (had bloods at the clinic) and when I eventually plucked up the courage to do a HPT it was after my viability scan at 7 weeks and I don't think my line was any stronger than that one.

Thank you 😊 that’s given me a lift. I can’t help but think it’s another blighted ovum. My clinic said I can do bloods self funded! I’ve just paid them £16,000 … 😔 I was just hoping they would help me out a bit more 😢

Aw I totally understand the worry, especially once you've been through it already.

But you never know, it might just turn out to be ok.

Everything crossed for you xxx

the lines defiantly look darker, have you tried asking your GP for a hcg test? With our gp we just phoned and told them that’s what we wanted to ease the anxiety and they done it the same day ( I know not everyone is as fortunate to have a good gp but defo worth an ask) x

These cheap tests are notoriously rubbish when it comes to repeat testing. Honestly; the lines are VERY strong for those types of tests. When I was 8 weeks; I didn’t even get a line that strong on those types of tests x

Hello, Your lines look really nice and they are getting darker. After having positive test on Sunday on Monday I went to my clinic and I did private blood test . I didn't care 110 pounds. And just like that my mind are really relax. I would recommend to you just go and do this instead of worrying unnecessary. And please don't worry your lines look beautiful.

Thank you, I wouldn’t normally care about the money , I just felt disappointed that I just paid my clinic £16,000 and they wouldn’t do a HCG for me 😢

I went to my GP who was amazing and listened patiently to all my worries and was so kind and gave me a blood form so I got it taken yesterday and nervously waiting results today 🙏🙏🙏

I agree the lines look strong to me. Glad your GP could help! I know how you feel as I was sun the same boat last week, My clinic only does a home self fingerprick blood test so not one that tells me the levels so don’t know if they are rising as they should. Now waiting for my viability scan on 14 Nov which feels like forever away. I’m just trying to keep myself as busy as possible with lots of nice plans to distract myself!

Best of luck to you. Xx

You will see everything it's gonna be ok. You have your little miracle. Just breathe and just try to stay calm. And I understand you but I didn't care disappointment in that case , it was something that has to be done. Private or not private . You have got this.

Hope you’re feeling a bit calmer, Kitkat. I understand why you are worried given your history but those lines look perfect. Please keep us posted and remember we are all routing for you xxx

These lines are lovely and seriously strong for that kind of test! My lines progressed visibly with first response but as soon as I started to test with these cheaper tests they were all lighter and looking the same day by day so instead of reassuring me it sent me into panic! Today my baby turns 6 months so all was good 💕💕 sending you lots of love and luck

Congratulations 💕💕 yep I’m definitely in panic mode but today the test line is nearly the same as the control line so I am hoping that’s a good sign. Waiting for my beta result. I had an anembryonic pregnancy last time (June) at 7 week scan so I just can’t help thinking the same is happening again 🙏

I wasn’t even aware of serial testing when I had my son in 2021 , I didn’t even test early 😂
