Hello you amazing people βΊοΈπ₯°π hope you are all well.
I was just wondering if you could share experience with a period after EC. How many days did it take for bleeding after EC? We are not having transfer this time, but I have to wait for a period and a check up before I'm able to go home.
Wishing you all a beautiful day β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπΊπΊπΊπΊπΊππππ

That's good! They've just called me to let me know another 4 are in the freezer, so 6 in total for sure. And tomorrow will get another call to know the final number β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ How are you doing? β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Thank you ever so much. No testing this round cause I got scared that I'll be left with no embryos if we do any testing. I've been thinking of you since your last post and I wish there was something I can do for you β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ it's so unfair! Hope it all passes quickly and you get to heal and carry on β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Sending much love and hugs your way β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
I got my period nine days after my egg collection. It was super early compared to when I should have gotten it and no one told me this would happen but apparently itβs normal.
Patienceβ¦. Itβs so tough! Iβm on a βrestβ month now and never has the idea of waiting a month for anything felt so long in my life π We will get there! Take care xoxox
Same is coming for me too hahah rest month, transfer won't be until May hahaha But at least once he checks me I can fly back home and be impatient in my own house π πΉπΉπΉ Take care too Hun xx
Hi! You say your period came after nine days. And that that is quite normal. I too had a bleeding from about that day, but it wasn't anything similar to a period, and when I had contact with my clinic about it, they had actually no explanation for it. It seemed to be way out of question that it was my period coming early. Now the bleeding has lasted for about a week (I'm 11dpt today), and just the last couple of days it's been more fresh blood and period like, though still not as heavy bleeding as I normally have the first days of my period. I'm still on progesterone,, though. Maybe that affects it. Tested positive today (as yesterday and 8dpt). I guess it takes some time for hct-levels to fall after a failure... How was your bleeding from 9 days after EC? Did you have a transfer or an all freeze cycle?
Usually when I get my period there is very little spotting, maybe only for an hour or two and then BAM there it all is lol βΊοΈ This time I spotted for the entire day but by that evening it was business as usual, only less cramping it seems but that could be because Iβve been trying to eat healthier and drink more water in anticipation of FET next month. We had a freeze all. My clinic wouldnβt do a fresh transfer for me but theyβre the experts so if theyβre going to make me wait I will lol.
Iβm so sorry your transfer failed and did your clinic confirm this? π Were you able to have any embys frozen? Fingers crossed for you on the next transfer β₯οΈ
Sadly only one egg survived to blastocyst stage at day 5, so I had a fresh transfer with my only egg from this EC. I lament a lot that no other egg survived to be frozen as my only success was with a FET in a natural cycle with hormone boosting with Letrozol before transfer and progesterone support after. There's definitively something very odd about the interaction between my body and progesterone, so I suspect our probable failure now is also due to a progesterone failure even if I've been taking all my medicine as prescribed. Hopefully I will have my next try in June (they say next possible appointment would be in May, but we're going abroad for about a month just in May to see my husband's family for the first time in three years, so they can know the new member of the family, so we rely on June (before the summer holidays) or in August... Or both? - if June fails... Those are our two last chances. We can't afford going private...
Enjoy your time with family it may be a nice break from the stress of all of this. Iβve got my fingers crossed for you! π€ I completely understand the pain of not being able to go private, we are also unable to afford this again if mine donβt take. Itβs a whole lot of pressure but try to stay positive, youβve got all of us rooting for you!
The not so fun thing is that I get physically weakened by the progesterone so that I can't work and can't move in my normal pace during the three weeks after EC when fresh cycle (or two weeks after FET), so everyone close enough to see me during those periods know exactly what I'm at at the very moment. It's no secret that we apparently can't make our own babies as normal people do (I work as a midwife, so I know quite a lot about this also from a professional standpoint), but it's a bit tiring not being able to hide it...
Hey, my clinic notes say anything from 3-12 days is normal. However my doctor told me mine will be more toward the 12 days as I had a stronger trigger. So I think it depends on your trigger injection strength because that will need to leave your system before your period arrives x
Heyy, thanks for your reply. I had 250 Ovitrelle so shouldn't be too long before AF arrives x π₯°β€οΈ Hope you are well xx
I had 2 EC. On the first period came after almost 2 weeks because I had a trigger shot and on the 2nd they didn't give me the trigger because of the OHSS and it came after a week.
Thank you for your reply! I'm sure it all depends on the individual but I'm really hoping it will start within a few days π€£π€£π€£πΉπΉπΉπππ I'm so impatient lol. Hope is all going great with you πππβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπππβ€οΈβ€οΈ
