Fresh Transfer Advice

Hi ladies, I will be having my second EC in the next fortnight + hopefully a fresh transfer after this.

Did any of you ladies take Lubion progesterone injections prior to a fresh transfer? And also blood thinners? I did these for my last failed FET but was told today these won’t be needed for a fresh? I’m not sure, especially about the Lubion. Thanks! X

hey yeah I took clexane from transfer day with both fresh and frozen and lubion from 5 days before. They gave me the option on the lubion as you do produce your own progesterone with fresh form the beginning but as you can’t have too much I thought why not! Clexane I’m not sure why fresh or frozen would make a difference as it to prevent clotting/sticky blood and my understanding is that isn’t affected by fresh or frozen 🤔 but I am defo no expert there! Difference with fresh is you dont need to continue the progesterone after test day if positive with my clinic normally (although they kept on it due to recurrent miscarriage) xx

That’s exactly what I thought. I’m going for a scan to check follicles tomorrow so will ask again as I know it’s with a different doctor! I have the Lubion + fragmin here at home anyway! Although I think a fresh transfer potentially will be off the cards if too many eggs are collected so maybe they’ll want me to start day of collection if the numbers are okay. X
