who did your myomectomy in London?

Hi, I had a keyhole myomectomy with Mr Haider Jan at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey about a year ago. It was covered by BUPA. 3 large fibroids were seen on the scan but he managed to find and remove 9 fibroids outside the uterus. He also found and removed some endometriosis which I didn’t know I had. He is an incredibly talented surgeon. I’d been to see another surgeon in Bristol prior to finding Mr Jan and they had insisted that open surgery was required and so it was such a bonus to find that Mr Jan could do keyhole surgery instead, which involves a much shorter recovery time. I would highly recommend him.

Hey thanks! Where were the large ones located and how big?

They were all big I think, on the outside wall of the uterus and one was near the cervix which makes it more complicated. I couldn’t tell you exactly where unfortunately. Some were over 6cm I think.
