Hi Ladies, hope you are doing well.

Could you tell me if you know a clinic or a place in London where i can do uNK testing (uterus natural killer), not the blood test?

Thanks a lot :)

Hi

I had this done in Coventry if you google Dr Quenby Coventry it should come up with all the details - my clinic gave me the details for it I think there is one other place in London that does it but the Coventry person specialises in it that’s why I chose to go there.

Thank you, treezuk. My doctor recommended her as well but she is now only working with the NHS. I see on her page that she is running a self funded implantation clinic but when i spoke to her secretary she said they work with NHS only which was quite disappointing. When did you do your test?

Oh really I didn’t know that - I think it was about 3 years ago now , did you clinic or DR suggest anyone else ?

It’s strange how they’ve just stopped doing it.

Yes, they suggested Warwick implantation clinic and Dr. Quenby who no longer works with them. I tried contacting the implantation clinic but no one is picking up so i am quite fed up now. I want to go ahead with my FET of my last 2 embryos and having to wait more is just killing me.

I’m sorry to hear that have you tried emailing as well I know it’s probably not gonna be any better but it’s worth a try.

I think the person who does it in London is something to do with Zita West clinic ( it may be something else I’m thinking of immunes maybe) but I would go back to your clinic and ask them again.

Hi I think Dr Quenby’s study is now over. I was thinking about having it, my clinic in Glasgow was offering it for a year or so but they’ve pulled it as they said the results didn’t prove it to be a viable test. I’ve just finished reading is my body baby friendly, it’s good and speaks slot a lot about immune testing which I’m now considering x

What is immune testing? I’ve heard of the Chicago test but results seem doubtful but I was offered intralipids but no test to see if it was necessary. I’d love to know where/how I could be tested as the intralipids are not cheap! Thanks

I’d advise u buy the book as too much to go into on here. I have endometriosis so it is recommended in this book for recurrent miscarriages which I’ve had, repeated ivf failures and endo all to do with your immune system x

I had a friend with similar issues with endometriosis and a few failed ivf treatments. She had the immune testing through blood tests and found she needed the intralipid and cortisol (I think that was what she said) and she fell pregnant on her next ivf. Definitely worth looking into. She did hers abroad though
