Pls let me know. Thank you.

Thank you. What were your DHEA and testosterone levels before taking it?

I did not test my testosterone levels, but my DHEA levels were 4.1

Maybe you should discuss your concerns with taking DHEA with your clinic/doctor They should be able to advice you as they know your history - results etc

Take care

Yes will do that as well but I needed information on when to take it. Usually people with low levels take it but I am not sure if it’s recommended to those with normal levels too!

the issue in the U.K. is that when you have testosterone value, it’s often a range. I’m going to start on low dose 25mg even though my testosterone is considered normal range. It’s press than 0.5 which is normal unless you are at the bottom end and you won’t know. Technically you need to be monitored to take DHEA as too little effects e.g. quality, too much can stop fertilisation. So it’s recommended in you are monitored. X

My level of testosterone is less than 0.5. My DHEA-S I asked to be tested but they charge a fair amount for this test, I know my testosterone is normal for my age, but it’s under the optimal for fertility so my clinician just said she had no problem me taking it. If you read “it starts with an egg” there’s some great info on DHEA. X

Thank you x

My blood test report showed free testosterone and testosterone. I don’t know which one to look into!

The book talks about total testosterone so I am very confused which one to check!
