hi all

So today I got my egg collection, I got 6 possible 8 eggs, a little disappointed I know quality over quantity but I can’t help but thinking non will come out it, any success stories with 6 eggs? Thanks

I had 9 eggs collected. 7 fertilised. I ended day 5 with 5 high quality blastocysts and added another to the freezer on day 6. You are not out until you are out, so try to stay positive

I have had 3 fresh rounds of IVF and the most eggs I got was 7. I ended up with 3 blasts on the first round(one of which is my 5 year old), 2 blasts the second round and 4 blasts on the last round(I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant).

It is so hard not to get caught up with numbers but you really only need 1!

stay positive - I’ve had between 1-3 eggs collected each time (such a shock originally when got 1 from first cycle as dr expected 8-10). Each time had 1-3 blasts against the odds. No success yet as besides DOR also have RIF. Don’t make assumptions and try and stay calm. I got myself in such a state when we had one egg but it did make it to transfer. Sending lots of strength for the waiting to hear at each step now.

When I did egg collection myself I only got 3. All 3 fertilized and ended up with 2 embryos. Last time my donor got 13 and I only ended up with 3 embryos x

Hi there - ughh I know exactly how you're feeling! I had 6 eggs retrieved on my latest round and was devastated as was hoping for more (I know 6 is a blessing for many people but it came as a big shock to me). Stay positive, as I'm now 18 weeks pregnant with one of those 6 and have 2 blastocysts on ice. I hope you receive some positive updates over the next few days x

I just got a good new from the embryologist 7 eggs have been fertilised so have to wait until Saturday to see how many will reach blastocyst they have booked me for transfer on Saturday and I can’t wait to hear at least I can transfer one and maybe some to freeze fingers crossed.

Hiya, don’t be to discouraged I know it’s hard when you hear this! I got 3 from first round 2 of them became embryos

And on my second round I had 7 eggs, 5 fertilised and 4 became embryos. 2 of which were 4AA!

I’m currently 14 weeks with our little miracle!

Hi just wanted to say, I had 14 eggs retrieved. 12 fertilised. By the end of waiting for them to do their thing and PGT-A I had three. I know you think you have a low number but don’t be disheartened. As long as you have one then there is hope!
