Bloating after a miscarriage?

I miscarried at 6 w pregnancy last week and I'm feeling really really bloated. I have not made any diet changes but I'm super bloated and also think I gained few kgs in a week which doesn't make any sense.Is this normal? I really want to start losing weight for a better outcome next time but I'm deflated.

I had a late miscarriage a month ago, and have had weight gain too. I think ultimately your hormones are all over the place, once it settles so will your weight. Healthy habits and lots of water will of course help it along. And be kind to yourself, your body has been through a lot. Don't rush x

Hope I can get my weight down as that's a key issue in getting any kind of fertility treatment now

Hi, I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve had a couple of miscarriages and understand what you’re going through.

As PineappleCrumble said, your hormones are all over the place right now and it’s going to take a bit of time for things to start to normalise. Try to focus on giving your body and mind nutritious food, water, and rest and recovery.

With what you’re going through right now, worries about your weight should be the last thing on your mind, just let your body settle and be kind to yourself.
