I'm absolutely devastated after having a blastocyst put back and finding out I'm pregnant, I have just had a scan at 7.5 weeks and they could detect no heartbeats (twin pregnancy) I have another scan this week as one of the Babies was measuring small, I'm so devastated. Anyone else had a similar exp? And go on to have a successful pregnancy. Looking for hope.

So sorry to read this... it's heartbreaking! Maybe even more after testing positive... where you still testing positive (hpt) ? Did the doctors told you this has happened?
Hi AllyBally000. So sorry to hear this, especially when you have been getting positive pregnancy tests. I'm afraid you have to stick it out for another week to double check what is happening. I have heard of a pregnancy continuing after such scan results, so keeping everything crossed that you will be one of them. Make sure you continue with any progesterone you have been prescribed. Thinking of you. Diane
I am so sorry to read your post and I totally understand how devastated you must be feeling as we had the same experience (not a twin pregnancy). These are the things that people just do not tell you about and you are trying to understand why you need to have more tests and continue the medication. I wish I had known. I thought it was so cruel and it was the hardest week.
You will need to continue all medication until you have your next scan. All sorts will be going through your mind at this time.
I have to say that it was a missed miscarriage for us and although I would not rule anything out you might just want to be prepared for next stages and options.
I truly hope that you get some better news at your next scan. Having had a missed miscarriage in April at our 8+3 scan I know how devastating it can be. Thinking of you xx
I just had a scan at 6 weeks- sac smaller than it should be I was told but that they will measure again in 2 weeks tim. They also only found one sac even though two embryos were implanted. Did you see two sacs in six weeks?
6 weeks is very early so hopefully things grow inbetween now and your next scan. I only had 1 embryo put back which split in 2. In the scan there were 2 gestational sacs.
We had 1, 5 day blastocyst put back on the 7th June. I finished my progesterone pessaries on the 16th June. Tested positive on the 18th June. Was feeling very pregnant by 6.5 weeks, morning sickness and nausea all day. Had the scan at 7.5 weeks? The embryo had split in 2, they could see 2 foetal poles and 2 yolk sacks however no heartbeats. One was measuring smaller than the other hence the scan this week (wed), however the sonographer at the early pregnancy clinic has said the smaller one most likely died before the bigger one
I've had no sign of miscarrying and I'm still throwing up every morning and nauseous all day, so still feel very pregnant which is becoming quite torturous.
We will have to wait until Wednesday to find out. I have 2 frozen embryo's so hopefully I can start again soon.
I guess I'm worried about he actual miscarriage and how this going to pan out.
Thank you for your messages it really helps 😊
Hi allybally im so sorry for your news I'm sure you are in shock right now you've had so much to process and deal with in the last couple of months and then you have to wait again for a further scan it must be very hard and stressful for you. Just wanted to you know I'm thinking of you xxx
It really is very unfair even more so considering the journey to get to that point there seems to be no sense in any of it, just know that your not alone we are all here to help you through xxx
