Did anyone else have a late second period after your egg retrieval?
After my wife's egg retrieval she got her period 5 days later, but now she's 7 days late for her 2nd period. She's always clockwork so she's wondering what's going on with her body
Hello! I have the same problem waiting for my 2nd period after egg retrieval. I'm 5 days late, I called my clinic and they put me on some kind of medicine to induce my period. Call the clinic, don't waste time!!

My wife's not having an embryo transfer. I am planning on carrying her embryos, so there's no huge rush for her period to come. But she was just curious if it's a common thing for a delayed second period and just making sure everything was fine
Its really common, the IVF drugs really mess your body up - can sometimes take quite a few months for it to all get back to normal and sometimes thats a 'new' normal x

Hi Hope_1234, nobody warns you about this but it seems it’s very common. It happened to me last year and was getting on for around 40 days before it came. Hopefully it’ll find your wife soon 🤞🏻 x
Yep. Mine was nearly 2 weeks later than expected and I was searching for answers too. Seems to be very common
