Rash on stomach post embryo transfer

Hi, I am 6dp5dt and have developed a red rash across my stomach / injection area which is a little sore and becomes itchy periodically throughout the day.

I contacted my clinic and the nurse said it was quite normal when taking the meds I’m on (Lubion and Arovi injections, in total 3 per day). This is my first medicated FET (had 2 failed natural FETs) so am new to Lubion.

There is very little I can find about this online so wondered if any of you have any experience of something similar?

Really hoping it’s not a negative sign 😬

hi lovely I hope you’re well, I’ve asked this last week because I was also getting reaction to Lubion , in my case it was a bump rather than a rash, lots of lovely ladies in here said it also happened to them, and gave me tips like to warm up the vial against your body and also to massage around the injection area afterwards to help spread it. Probably worth discussing with your clinic to make sure is nothing serious! All the best of luck on your journey xx

Aww thanks lovely, I totally missed your post! Thanks for the tips, I’ll give them a try tomorrow. Also have an appt with the nurse to get it checked out. Hope yours is better now and all the best with your journey too.

Yep - same here. I got a red hard rather large lump. The clinic just said to draw round it and monitor if it gets bigger (and to call them if it did). It then just started to fade and never happened again with further injections. Xx

yeah I have had this a few times and doesn’t affect outcome 🤗 I found it worse when I put a band of tights or trousers on the injection site too soon after so I do the night time one in my jammies and try to wear loose clothes during the day as much as possible to help xx

Thank you that’s comforting to hear ☺️ I have been walking around the house with my bottoms rolled down and top rolled up! It’s definitely getting better. All the best with your journey x
