c section affecting fertility

hi everyone ,

does anyone have any knowledge or had treatment of a pocket of fluid after a c section ? I was told I was fine from my clinic however after two implantation failures and a scan report saying I have fluid measuring 6.7 x 4.3mm I am starting to feel like it is affecting things ?

Anyone that could advise me please with the same or where / what treatment I could have ?

Have you discussed this with your clinic ? Tell them of your concerns and then they should be able to tell what they plan to do going forward - do they feel it needs treated or will it resolve own it's own

hello, feel free to PM if you want but fluid in the cavity can indicate uterine scaring. Not necessarily though. If it is you would need a 3DSIS to check then a hysteroscopy but only by a specialist as scarring can be hard to treat if a generic surgeon. Do you get normal periods post the c section? Did your lining build normally in the cycles you’ve done? Xxx

Thank you for your message ❤️ yes every month but heavy sometimes , that isn’t unusual for me though prior to pregnancy . I haven’t been scanned by a consultant only a nurse at the ivf clinic and just saying the fluid is away from implantation area might be rubbish as it can affect the whole receptivity of the uterus . I am trying to get hold of mr Adrian lower who is a specialist in uterine fibroids and scaring but not having any joy . I don’t know what to do next really . Is a hsg worth doing ?
