Cancelled c section

Well they have cancelled my c section for Wednesday as they have ran out of hospital gowns. I am absolutely gutted.

I have to wait until they get a delivery and for them to work through the lost days until they get to me. I am so upset xx

Hi Emma. Oh you poor thing. The gowns are on their way, so hopefully they will soon catch up as they are working through the night to do sections etc. I know you must be scared, but they know you are there and will sort you out soon as. Thinking of you. Diane

I'm not surprised you are gutted as you have psyched yourself up for surgery and it's disappointing when you are told at the last minute sorry it's cancelled and there's not a thing you can do about it!

It's so not fair is it when you are expecting to go for surgery psyche yourself up to go through it only to be told it's not happening at the last minute.

I’m sorry to hear this. I can remember feeling on tender hooks until Francesca arrived. ( she was 4 days overdue!) it’s very upsetting for you. To have surgery cancelled is awful but even worse when it’s a c section. I hope you don’t have too long to wait to have your c section xxx

Sorry about this. It is a highly stressful situation without the added stressers of challenges in our hospital systems. All will be well though.
