I had a fet transfer after a c section and my lining etc was exactly the same as prior to to the c section, I just had a check up scan before starting any treatment to make sure it all looked ok and they were happy, I unfortunately ended up having an early miscarriage but they believe this was down to the embryo and said it was a positive sign it had implanted, I had another fet last week so just in the dreaded tww

I've had 3 FETs after a c section. Two implanted and there didn't seem to be any problem with the endometrium - just my old eggs not making viable embryos:(

I am sorry to hear that. Are you going to try another stim cycle?

I had FET after csection for first with scratch and he is now coming up 2. Good luck and all to best.

Thank you.Did they ask you to do anything before the transfer?like a hysteroscopy or a repeat HSG?

I had a hysteroscopy and fibroid removed before my first transfer and that didn't work. Then before my 2nd transfer had a polyp removed 6 months before transfer. Both times I had endo scratch by choice, think it helped with both my boys. My specialist was amazed it worked twice! 😆

Slrry forgot to mention no operation before 3rd egg transfer which was successful

Hello, I've had two transfers since my C-section, the first didn't implant and I'm now 17 weeks pregnant with the second. From what I understand, most C-sections are done at the bottom of the uterus where the lining is the thickest. Conversely, most transfer are done at the top of the uterus (fundus, I believe) just to avoid potential issues with scaring and other reasons (can't remember exactly). Best of luck!

Good luck! They did not ask for either. I think they felt pretty confident because I did a natural FET for the one that didn't work (2nd transfer/first transfer after C-section); so when we went back to a medicated for the most recent transfer (3rd transfer/2nd transfer after C-section), they felt pretty confident that it would work. Good luck!!
