Low AMH - using donated eggs?

Is there anyone who decided to use egg donation due to low AMH values? (Mine is 0.7!)

I wish to hear your experiences please!

Me! Tried naturally for a year, moved to own egg IVF and did 3 rounds which were all unsuccessful. I overhauled my diet, became teetotal, took countless supplements, and had regular acupuncture and it didn’t improve egg quality or quantity sadly.

Finally accepted we needed to try something different and moved to donor eggs. Used an egg bank and got a BFP on our first transfer, but sadly it ended in a missed miscarriage. Looking to transfer next embryo in a couple of months.

It’s a big decision that can take a while to get your head around. @DefiningMum on instagram is a good account for support on donor conception. We also talked to a counsellor.

Happy to answer more questions via DM. Wishing you the best of luck xx

Me and we have the most gorgeous 3 year old and a frostie to be transferred when I get my health sorted. The only regret we have is not using donor egg from the first failed cycles.

It was a lot to understand but do get counselling and there is lots of support. My husband was very anti donor but after meeting with consultant and counselling was sold and we were successful on the first transfer. I am also much older on the other side of 40 and it is possible.

Sending best wishes xx

I’m using DE and it never really crosses my mind! I just want my 🌈 baby and I’ll do whatever it takes to get that 😊
