Weight gain on Norethisterone and Syranel/Nafarelin

Just wondering whether anyone had noticed that these drugs made you pack on the lbs? I’m really battling to get my weight down at the moment and normally don’t have a problem. I’ve exercised 6 times this week and have reduced calories too but my weight is climbing and I’m not sure why other than maybe these drugs. Or maybe that’s it for me now and I’m on the slippery slope to obesity 😂.

Is this related to ivf specifically? I’m nowhere near overweight but if I keep on this drug I might be in a few weeks 😂.

Hi lovely,

Not sure if its the same but it made me manically hungry - like I'd have lunch at 11am because I was ravenous all the time.

Once I stopped taking it, it did die down so hopefully it will for you and you'll notice less weight gain.
