It is my first time to write and it is very heart breaking it is our 3rd embryo transfer. I am tubeless because of ectopic pregnancy and hydrosalphinx. Did D and C this year for uterine polyps. Under clexane, prednisone, cricone, duphastone, estrogen pills. Where do I go from here? I am defeated and tired, I cannot open to anyone they will not understand me especially if you can be pregnant naturally.

hi lovely. I am sorry you didn’t get a BFP on this round. This is a very brutal journey with a challenge around every corner. I think embryo grading is subjective. As in beauty is in the eye of the beholder - sure they may say it’s a 5AA etc based on certain criteria but you never know unless tested if that embryo is chromosomally normally and can therefore go the distance. Don’t be hard on yourself. It’s ok to feel frustrated and disappointed. I am 43 must have had 7 or 8 transfers if not more, I didn’t count and I only got a BFP on 9th round. (I created embryos in 2018-2020) and then took a break to focus on side projects involving rescuing dogs from war torn countries . My BFP was on an untested embryo grade 4BB. (Non viable pregnancy ) I am on the steroids etc too. You will get there it might just take longer. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for taking time to reply. In every transfer for you, did they change the protocol any additional test or its the same. I am numb really.

I don’t think there is anymore they can do for me. I have had all possible tests, ERA, Emma, NK, Chicago tests level one and 2. Karatyping, PGT. In my case it’s just repeating the process until one works (I have had failed transfers with PGT normal embryos too) I know the feeling. It’s very lonely and so hurtful but you are going to be ok as long as you look after you! Eat well, sleep, prioritise your mental and physical well being. I believe we will all arrive at our destination just going to tahr different routes to get there. (Time and money too)

How old are you? How many transfers?

Hi I am 36 yrs. Old. 3 egg collection and 3rd failed transfer. In the country I am in now, I am in a government facility much cheaper than private but thousands of patients in. I never did those kind of diagnostics. Been ttc since 30 yrs old. Time and money is really my concern here. Thousands of needle I can handle.
