Negative 9 days post fresh 3 day Embryo Transfer

Hi all, i did my embryo transfer on the last two Wednesday which makes today (friday) is the 9th day. Took a test since the last three days, and all were BFN. I know i shouldnt take anymore test earlier than 12 to 14th day, but i am wondering does this means my ivf transfer failed? I saw on some websites that some ladies even got positive after 6th day of transfer. In fact i dont have any pregnancy symptoms like others. None at all. This is my first ivf procedure and please guide me.

Nope it doesn't, a day or a few can make all the difference!! I tested one day got a bfn then a few days later bfp 🙂 hold tight, your not our the game yet!!! Good luck!!! Xxxz

Thank you so much! I was suppose to do a blood test on the next Tuesday but that was on 15th day. So thats why I would like to prepare beforehand. I really really hope this works!

Its still a little early for a 3 day embryo transfer. Things can definitely change so you're not out just yet....hang on in there.xx

The wait is very hard but better try not to test so much. The drugs can interfere a lot with the test. Wait til the day they suggested then test. In mean time try to occupy yourself (work, friends, hobbies)...Good luck!

The temptation to test early is always so strong (and most of us cave in and do it!), but it’s still early days for you so please don’t be disheartened, it can still change x

Yes you are right! I have read tons of message online and tips for not to check it early, should just wait till OTD but still most of us did it anyway and so did i! I was trying so hard to resist from sticking the pee stick in the cup but failed miserably. I am really hoping the result will change on this tuesday. Really really pray hard here.

Still early days for a 3 day embryo - lots of those getting early BFP are from transfer of 5 day or 6 day blastocytes so they are a few days ahead.

Fingers crossed things change in the next few days for you - its definitely not over! x

I have to go to the clinic next Friday 01/11/2019 for a blood test, so that is going to be the traumatic day for hubby and me....so not looking forward to that. Yes, it could be positive BUT also could be negative and I think that hubby is more nervous and on edge than I am. I suppose that my body has been through so much already that I have just adopted a blaze approach to the OTD. If positive, I may just go out and buy a pregnancy test kit to confirm what the clinic have told us and to have my own personal record for my memories box (stupid and corny, I know)

I had a day 3 fresh embryo transfer, today is day 9 and I caved in to testing and it came back negative. Tomorrow is day 10 and OTD, is there a possibility or chance that it could come back positive?😬

I am just a few days behind you. I had a day 3 fresh embryo transfer and today is day 8 for me so 2 days behind you. I caved and tested this morning which was negative and it is hard not to be discouraged. Good luck today! Hope you get great news!

Auroraaa did you test positive thru blood test after negative urine test. am in same boat can someone help me ?
