i am 1dpt transfer . Which means it has been 6 days on pessaries i believe .
When i first started the pessaries and oestrogen I had alot of aide effects. I dont feel anything anymore? Is this normal or does this mean i need a higher dose of progesterone? They didnt do my bloods at all at the hospital to check my progesterone levels they just gave me the same dose as last time when i got pregnant.
I keep worrying about whether my progesterone levels are high enough i am taking 2x400mg amylgen a day one morning one night and 4x oestrogen.
Is this normal not to feel anything on the progesterone anymore?
Hi Pcosivf. It’s so early to get pregnancy symptoms. Anything you feel are probably just side effects from medication. Try not to worry about progesterone as your body will use its own store first, before taking any extra from the pessaries etc. Try and keep busy, and keep up with any prescribed medication. Try and avoid eating until the day recommended by your clinic. Tiredness can be an early sign of pregnancy, but not after one day. Drink plenty of water and avoid constipation. Good luck. Diane
Hi, yes it is normal for symptoms to settle down. I usually feel terrible for a few days every time I change meds and then OK. My meds are a little different to yours so I normally feel poorly for a few days after transfer (as I switch on transfer day) but if you have been on the same for 6 days I think it is normal to start feeling better. Try not to worry 🙂 The TWW is a rollercoaster - you feel bad and then good and then tired and then hormonal and then fine again. You might spot and then stop spotting... it is all normal and common. Just think - you would have no idea what might be happening inside if it wasn't IVF, so just enjoy every day you feel good and do whatever makes you happy!
