I found out I was pregnant last week. However, during the week before I had woke up in the night with sharp pains. I thought it was because I was due on and the pains had gone the following morning. So once I found out I was pregnant I went to A&E for reassurance. They booked me in for a scan which I went to on the Thursday. They could not see anything at all on the scan but said it could just be too early. They took my bloods and asked me to go back on the Saturday. On the Thursday night I started to bleed but only when wiping and it was pale pink.
I went back on the Saturday and found out my hcg had increased from 50 to 133.
I was booked in for a scan on the 3rd April. But then I ended up back in the A&E on Sunday after this appointment they moved my scan to today. On the Sunday they did say my cervix was closed and I hadn’t had a mass bleed which was positive. On the scan today they couldn’t see anything and took more bloods. My hcg had increased but not as much as they would like. They are just under 400.. They said it could be because I am a lot earlier than I thought and I am booked back in again for a scan on the 7th, They ruled out an ectopic.
On Sunday after being in the hospital I did start bleeding this time in the pad not just on wiping.
My gut instinct is telling me that I have miscarried. But I would like to hear a similar story with a positive outcome 🤞🏻

I'm sorry you're going through this. It does sound as if your HCG is rising (and probably doubling every 2-3 days?), and the bleeding isn't uncommon in early pregnancy, especially if it's an IVF pregnancy. I haven't been in this situation so cannot give you any real reassurance I'm afraid (though hopefully others can share similar stories). Sadly there is just no way of knowing yet, which I know must be torturous. Hoping things settle over the next day or so and you can get a clear answer (hopefully the best one!) on the 7th. Thinking of you 🥰 xx
Just a little update. Had a scan today, there was nothing in my womb. But a shadow/fluid in my right ovary which could be a cyst,. But then My bloods increased again to 1600. So they are thinking what they can see in the ovary is an ectopic pregnancy but they need to do my bloods again on Sunday before they decide what happens next. They know now that is not going to be a viable surviving pregnancy. It could be that I have to have the injection of methotrexate or surgery. Or that is passes naturally. They will know more after my bloods on sunday. They haven’t been able to see it on the scan before because it has been so early. X
